SUSPENSION AND HANDLING

Isolated springs in the rear E-type multilink suspension make almost any road feel like fresh pavement.
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)* regulates engine torque and applies brake pressure to individual wheels when needed, to maintain control and prevent skidding during sudden maneuvers.
Traction Control System (TCS) modulates throttle input and applies braking on individual wheels that lose traction during acceleration, for the best possible grip on the road even in less than ideal weather conditions.

If braking is an economy of inches, then the 2009 CX-7 with its large diameter brakes and advanced braking technology is among the most economical in its class.

All CX-7 models come standard with large 11.65" dual-piston ventilated disc brakes up front and even larger 11.9" single-piston ventilated disc brakes in the rear.
