Mazda builds sports cars for those with a true passion for driving performance - adrenalin addicts like us who live for the thrill of hitting that perfect apex, and the feeling of being thrust back hard in the seat when you stand on the throttle. It's an unyielding passion that drives us to design sports cars that create an unbreakable bond with those as infatuated as we are.

Mazda North American Operations and the local Southern California enthusiast group, SoCalRX Club, hosted another celebration of all things rotary at the 12th annual meeting of SevenStock. Once again, Mazda opened their doors to thousands of rotorheads from around the world. They all showed up for one purpose: to show off their rotaries and honor one of the greatest engines of all time.

What started as a local BBQ among a group of local Southern California enthusiasts has now become a fun-filled weekend of exciting events. With less than 20 attendees at the first event, SevenStock has rapidly grown to attract thousands of people and hundreds of vehicles.

This year's event was filled with just about every rotary-engine vehicle ever sold - including RX-3's and rotary pick-up trucks, plus dozens of tricked-out RX-7's and RX-8's.

The best of Mazda's rotary-powered motorsports were also on display including a RX-792P IMSA GTP car driven by Patrick Dempsey and BMI Racing's 4-rotor Time Attack Challenge RX-8. And with more exhibits, guest speakers and factory racecars than ever before, this rotary-powered weekend proved that SevenStock truly is Rotary Nirvana.
