Raise the windshield wipers when washing the vehicle, when it snows, or when replacing the windshield wiper blade rubber.

Raising the front windshield wipers

1. Switch the vehicle power ON.

2. Switch the vehicle power OFF.

3. Press up the wiper switch to the MIST position 2 times within 30 seconds after switching the vehicle power OFF.

   

   The wipers operate and stop at the specified positions.

4. Raise the wipers.

When raising the wiper arms, hold the wiper arms and raise them. Otherwise, the part may deform and the wiping performance may lower.

Returning the front windshield wipers to their original position

1. Slowly lower the wipers onto the windshield.

    

   ---

   Slowly lower the wipers. If the wipers hit the windshield too hard, the windshield may be damaged.

   Close Caution

2. Switch the vehicle power ON.

3. Press up the wiper switch to the MIST position 2 times.

   The wipers operate and return to their original position.
