Touch Panel Operation (Some Models)

Only Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™ can be operated using the touch panel.

 


Do not press the screen strongly or press it with a sharp-pointed object. Otherwise, the screen could be damaged.

 


For safety reasons, operation of the center display is disabled while the vehicle is being driven. However, items not displayed in gray can be operated using the commander switch while the vehicle is being driven.

Touch & tap: Touch or lightly tap the item indicated on the screen with your finger.

Slide: Touch the slider bar of the item with your finger and move it to the desired level.

Swipe: Touch the screen with your finger and move up or down.

 

The touch panel function enable/disable can be changed using the following procedure.

Type A

  1. Select “Settings” from the Mazda Connect home screen.

  2. Select “Connectivity Settings”.

  3. Select “Bluetooth®/Phone Connectivity Settings”.

  4. Select the name of the device to be connected.

  5. Enable or disable the touch panel function in the “Touchscreen in Motion for All Devices” item’s check box.

Type B

  1. Select “Settings” from the Mazda Connect home screen.

  2. Select “Connectivity Settings”.

  3. Select “Bluetooth®/Phone Connectivity Settings”.

  4. Enable or disable the touch panel function in the “Touchscreen in Motion” item’s check box.
