i-ACTIVSENSE® SAFETY FEATURES

DRIVER ATTENTION ALERT

Standard Driver Attention Alert8 monitors the driver’s steering and accelerator inputs and lane position. When it recognizes driving behavior suggesting driver fatigue or decreased attentiveness, it activates a warning sound and displays an alert in the LCD Meter Display.

FRONT CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

When slowly entering traffic from an intersection or driveway, available Front Cross Traffic Alert13 warns of fast approaching vehicles. When an oncoming vehicle is detected, it provides both an audible alert and visual warning in the instrument panel.

i-ACTIVSENSE® SAFETY FEATURES

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT

Smart Brake Support9 aims to help reduce the severity of collisions by automatically applying the brakes if the system senses a potential collision.

i-ACTIVSENSE® SAFETY FEATURES

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT-REAR CROSSING

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT-REVERSE

Smart Brake Support-Reverse15 uses two ultrasonic sensors mounted on the bumper to keep track of obstacles when reversing at low speeds. If there is a risk of collision, the system applies the brakes automatically to minimize damage from a potential impact.
