The Mazda CX-50 has joined the Life Time Grand Prix1 cycling series—one of professional cycling’s biggest and most exciting off-road race series. With its demanding courses through some of America’s most beautiful landscapes and host cities, the series invites cyclists to nature’s most incredible paths. Launching the CX-50 with this partnership is a perfect fit because Mazda believes some of the best adventures begin where the asphalt ends. The design and performance of the CX-50 enables drivers to follow their passions and experience the benefits of being outdoors.

THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE
This series of seven iconic off-road races invites 60 of the most seasoned professional cyclists to tackle uniquely challenging courses across multiple types of terrain. Cyclists applied to compete in the series, and just 30 men and 30 women were chosen to move forward. With a combination of gravel events and mountain-biking specific events, the Life Time Grand Prix℠ series1 challenges professional cyclists like no other race series. Each event varies in location, distance, and elevation gain, making the series a true show of the athletes’ abilities to adapt.
The Life Time Grand Prix℠ presented by Mazda also rewards professional cyclists like no other. A $300,000 total prize purse with equal payouts for women and men is on the line. For these professional athletes, taking home the prize purse means an increased likelihood of sponsorship and more opportunities to continue their cycling careers.
