REFLECTIVE SURFACES
Be immersed, while standing out. Mazda’s design experts spent two years handcrafting an exterior for the CX-50 that reflects its environment in a very considered way. Intentionally designed for a natural setting, the reflective curves are meant to capture and amplify the beauty that surrounds it.
COLOR PALETTE
Every design decision for the CX-50 was ultimately born of a reverence for nature. Zircon Sand Metallic, an available new exterior color, summons notions of venturing down rustic primitive trails. Whereas the vehicle’s refined interior is available in Terracotta leather, a color inspired by the hue of earthen clay.
A powerful presence
With an intentionally wide stance, low roof line and high ground clearance, the muscular composure of the CX-50 greets you with a sense of resilience for on- and off-road driving.
PANORAMIC MOONROOF

A NATURAL CONNECTION
Our seats are shaped for a comfortable and relaxed posture, with the driver seat symmetrically balanced with the steering wheel and pedals. Every control is within reach and the instrument panel is intuitively designed around your line of sight, so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
TERRACOTTA
Our newly available Terracotta leather trim was inspired by the rich hues of soil. Warm and inviting, the earthen tones offer a constant connection to the natural world that surrounds you.
MATERIALS INSPIRED BY
OUTDOOR ENDEAVORS
The hard-wearing materials found on various trims took inspiration from technical outdoor gear. The sturdy nylon of climbing backpacks inspired our seat fabric. Our seat stitching reflects the pattern of hiking boot laces. And the grip of a telephoto lens influenced the textures on our center consoles.
HEATED STEERING WHEEL
The versatile comfort of the CX-50 lies in the details. Venture through icy climates with ease, thanks to the thoughtfully crafted available heated steering wheel.
CLIMATE CONTROLLED LEATHER SEATS
The available front and rear heated seats and available front ventilated seats are a comfortable affirmation that every season is beautiful.
