To help protect passengers during a collision, Mazda vehicles feature a strong SKYACTIV®-Body, seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters, an anti-intrusion brake pedal, and advanced Airbag Systems.

Most Mazda vehicles are equipped with 10 airbags, providing front, side, front knee, and side curtain protection.18 Enhanced seat belt pretensioners and load limiters are found on all outboard seats.
This body is 8% lighter and 30% more rigid than earlier designs. The change delivers optimal efficiency by distributing the force of an impact in case of a collision.
